Blind Stealing
It is profitable to steal from the blinds provided you steal against the right opponents (ie tight opponents who rarely 3 bet resteal and fold too much).
For example a minraise on button in an unopened pot needs to work only 58% to be profitable assuming you have no postflop value.
Use the calculator below to work out how profitable stealing in relation to raise size and folding equity preflop.
The calculator makes the assumption that you have no postflop value, in practice this is a poor assumption to make because even 72o can flop a monster once in while.
Input values on form to calculate how succesful stealing needs to be to be profitable.
This calculator assumes that if a blind steal is unsuccessful you will lose the hand.
bb/100 is big blinds per 100 hands
Enter only numeric values (no commas), using decimal points

Full Tilt has recently released Rush Poker. It is has much faster game mechanism meaning more hands per hour. This allows more action excitement rarely are waiting for action. Although the games are nittier preflop which means there some are adjustments needed to make your game more profitable.
